It's been a busy time for me with Spring arriving in Alberta. Balancing bathroom renos, gardening and costructing a greenhouse. With all the tools and saws it was inevitable that I'd cut myself...making dinner. The tip of my finger on my left hand. I'm a 4-5 finger typist so this is making it hard.
Still playing on Twitter, not sure how I feel about it. Everyone is using it to beat their drum and promote themselves. "Look at me. look at me." Some people are real good at the hustle. There have been some cool things to find on twitter and some let downs.
Lets get the negative out of the way. Maybe there is that famous singer or actor you'd think must be amazing and then find out the Tweets are hmm lacking. Or not to mention any names but that famous indie writer, who has a few articles writen about them and how a failed author made $2 million from e-books. Talk about pointless mundane stuff. (Guess who I mean and I'll get you a free copy of Tomohawks & Zombies) How is that for promotion?
some of the best things on Twitter:
Livetweeting the 2nd World War, as it happens on this date & time in 1940, & for 6 years to come has to be the most amazing thing on Twitter. Yes, I'm a nred but it's fun to watch the story develop.
Another positive about Twitter was meeting Riena Salt, indie author of Graveyard blues and very swet person. Her blog is pretty sweet featuring a creature of the week plus interviews with other indie authors. It was my first interview, a strange but enjoyable experience. I think it went well but you can find out ...

Hi I'm Joe Beausoleil, I'm a manbrarian with the Edmonton Public Library, finder of hidden treasure, and writer.
When you are a first time author you have to get your name out there someone. So along with getting my first ebook out I opened a twitter account and started a blog. Hopefully there will be something on here entertaining and inticing so you'll give my book a shot.
Tomahawks & Zombies on smashwords.com for $3.99. Of course, I think it's good, that it tells a complelling original story in a genre that is getting pretty played out but I've been a zombie fan for years and I wanted to write a story that goes in new directions.
